Konami slams Wal-Mart for breaking MGS4 street date

Konami has taken a step back from its "these things happen" comment on broken street dates, criticizing Wal-Mart for selling Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots early, even warning that Sony can withhold shipments of the game's bundle.

"Walmart is in trouble for breaking street dates. They've been penalized in the past for doing so," Konami's Dani wrote.

A couple of the mega-retailer's stores have sold MGS4 80GB PS3 bundles up to a week before the title's scheduled...
