A Smart Pad?

Believe it or not, DigiLife has actually been cranking out wares in the consumer electronics space for awhile now.

Trouble is, there aren't too many people that seem to care here in the States.

Color might still be out of the question -- both now and far into the future -- but Amazon seems fit to take out some of the Kindle's fat.

So, how much e-book reader can $149 get you?

Well, Kobo's eReader might not be heavy on the feature set, but based on the general impressions from Electronista's review, we'd say quite a bit.

The pair of Samsung-borne e-book readers we espied at CES just became a trio.

We swung by the Audiovox / RCA booth in search of the new Lexi e-reader but sadly were met with a non-working version that was effectively useless.

Look, we don't like having to constantly be skeptics who don't believe in anything unless there's absolute proof of its existence... oh, wait: yes we do.

Especially in scenarios like this, where sources are unclear, a bit vague, and poorly translated.

We're still not about say the e-book reader industry has branched out beyond the infancy stage, but one of its flagship products certainly has reason to celebrate.
