With momentum from the Blu-ray win and a strong line-up of exclusive titles for the PlayStation 3, Sony is not expected to react to any Microsoft price cut anytime soon.

According to Signal Hill analyst Todd Greenwald, Sony will hold its ground against an Xbox 360 price cut, which has been all but confirmed.

"We do not expect a price cut on the PS3 just yet," Greenwald said.
