Details are still somewhat light at the moment, but reports are now coming out that the popular Megaupload file-sharing site has been shut down by Federal prosecutors in the US, and that the sites founders and other individuals have been charged with violating piracy laws.


 

Broadway’s Spider-Man Succeeds

Does this mean Glenn Beck was right? Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark is succeeding despite horrible reviews last year, according to The New York Times.

The show’s producers are now saying for the first time that they think they can recoup their entire investment from the show’s Broadway run (previously, they said they thought they would need national and overseas franchises of the show).

Still, the show will need to be a long-running hit along the lines of Wicked or The Lion King, as producers invested $75 million and the show brings in between $100,000 and $300,000 in profits each week.

That means no more changes -- to lyrics, choreography, etc.
